S0/0 & 15/0 glass seed beads and 5 mm gold-plated firepolished beads on beading felt, backed on artificial moose leather and stabilized with 3-ply cardboard with a lanyard of size 10/0 and 6/0 glass seed beads on 7-strand nylon paracord.
My flagship piece for this exhibition, Mākaskāc-Mostōs is a medallion depicting a bison as a metaphor for the importance of hope in Michif culture and the beauty of our culture, even outside the Homeland.
12.5cm replica of a CD made with size 10/0 seed beads on beading felt. The piece is encoded with the lyrics to the song "Stand in the Joy" by William Prince in Morse code and is accompanied by a watercolour rendition of the the Stand in the Joy album cover.
